lost-and-searching-in-america:

Orioles first basemen Chris Davis was called into to pitch in 16th inning against the Boston Redsox after the O’s had exhausted their bullpen. Davis gave up just 2 hits and no runs while also getting two strikes outs. The Orioles would take the lead in the 17th with a three run Adam Jones homer. Davis, who is the Orioles regular first basemen and is not a part of the O’s bull pen, and in fact has never pitched in a big league game before today was credited with the win.

Yes please. My hero.
